The Wolfson Wolfpack are due to face a new challenge this friday, they are facing the Palatka Panthers. But this game is not a regular game, not your regular Friday Night Lights, it is senior night. It will be a night where our seniors will be celebrated, as this is their last regular season game and they are looking to leave a night to remember, not only to themselves but to their families and amazing supporters. It will be a night full of emotions, school pride and most importantly, memories. After years of sweat, blood and tears these seniors will look to leave everything on that field friday night.
As the pack prepares for the big game, senior wide receiver Lawson Gunn will look towards his last down for the pack and he wants it to be to make a memorable one. as Gunn has done nothing but ball out this season. Recording nine total touchdowns this season while averaging 100.3 receiving yards per game, has made him a key part of Wolfson’s offense. However, for Gunn, football has meant much more than personal accomplishments or statistics. As when asked to reflect on his high school football experience, Lawson shared “Football has helped me build a brotherhood, taught me the value of hard work, and showed me that if you truly set your mind to something, you can achieve greatness.” Please show out and celebrate these seniors’ last couple of downs. Kick-off will be at 6pm but our seniors are walking out at 5:45, Go pack!
