With the season of swim coming to a close, the teams are looking forward to their meet against Bolles to then gain momentum and swim their way to districts bringing home the Gold. “We have done amazing, we have one more regular season meet then we are heading into the championship” – Coach Cindy Tally. Last season the team was runner-up, this year they are back and hungrier than ever.

We spoke with several seniors on the team and they expressed high hopes for the post-season. The team heads to the Gateway Conference in less than two weeks, and celebrated senior night last Tuesday. Maddie Jackson, a senior on girl’s swim mentioned, “Fletcher is the hardest team we play, but we enter the pool knowing we can win through hard work and dedication.”

Matthew Koneg, senior-boys swim, is hoping to end the season with a PR on his 50 free, hoping to cut six seconds off his time.

We look forward to seeing how the whole team performs as they enter into the final month of the season.
